Since its inception, MetroWest Meds has served thousands of clients and has saved over $2 million in prescription costs.
MetroWest Meds offers several types of assistance:
1. Free Medication Programs Pharmaceutical companies provide their brand name medications for free or at reduced rates to patients who meet their eligibility guidelines and complete an application.
This process can be complex and time consuming for individuals attempting to access the programs on their own. MetroWest Meds will work with you and your doctor to streamline the application process.

2. Discounted Medication Programs For those who are deemed ineligible for the free programs, every effort will be made to help you in locating other discount sources of assistance.
Some companies offer percentage discount cards to people lacking prescription coverage that can substantially cut your medication costs. There are also programs that offer discounted generic drugs at prices that are considerably less than what you pay at the pharmacy. Or you may be eligible for state or federal prescription programs, such as MassHealth, Prescription Advantage, or Medicare Part D. MetroWest Meds will work with you to find the best discounts possible.
3. Natick VNA/MetroWest Meds Pharmacy Card For those under 65 who are uninsured and meet income requirements, the Natick VNA offers a pharmacy card program. While this is not an insurance program, it may help cut some of your prescription medication costs at the pharmacy.
This program enables those who are accepted to purchase a 30-day supply of medication for a co-pay of $5 for generic drugs and $10 for brand name drugs at local pharmacies. There is a limited formulary of medications available through this program.
