Natick Visiting Nurse Association Receives National Awards

Fazzi Associates Recognizes Natick VNA as National Leader

The Natick Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) has been awarded the 2008 National Best Practice Improvement Study Award and Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction by Fazzi Associates.

The National Best Practice Improvement Study is based on the belief that home health care organizations that benchmark and implement operational, financial and quality best practices will realize measurable improvement in the quality of care they provide to patients while securing the financial viability of the organization. The benchmarking and quality improvement measures utilized by the Natick VNA as part of the study are helping the agency to see improved clinical documentation, resulting in enhanced care outcomes for patients and more accurate reimbursement.

The Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction is presented to home health care organizations that are named as national best practice organizations by demonstrating superior performance in patient satisfaction. In 2008, the Natick VNA achieved patient satisfaction results that place it in the top 25% of home health care providers nationwide.

Both of these awards reflect the Natick VNA’s commitment to providing the best possible home health care to patients.
